Like when you get up in the morning, stumble into the bathroom, your mouth dry as dead cactus, load your toothbrush down with Crest or Colgate, run cold water over it and – oops – the wad of paste falls off the brush and goes down the drain.
Your eyes are barely open and the first mishap of the day has already occurred. What did you do to deserve this? Where is the justice?

However, this phrase still makes for a wonderful, incredibly cheesy, appropriate introduction. Dresden is a beautiful city, and its restaurants, landmarks, and hotels are well worth seeing.

SMDC Pharmacies Receive Award for Environmental Stewardship
The St. Louis River Alliance recently honored SMDC Health System with its 2009 Environmental Stewardship Award.
Dianne Witten, Director of Retail Pharmacies, and Dick Spehar, Director of Acute Care Pharmacies, accepted the plaque during an awards ceremony. SMDC’s pharmacy staff members were nominated by the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District for their role in medication collection events at WLSSD’s Household Hazardous Waste Facility.

Duluth Police are investigating a stabbing late Sunday that sent a 33-year-old Duluth man to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound.
